Responsibility

Today was a very EYE OPENING day.  It was a day full of reminders.  Reminders like… follow my intuition…  when I feel it express it.  I am reminded not to wait and to speak my truth always regardless of how it is perceived.  As long as I am coming from love I am being fully expressed.  As I sit here I start to wonder about a deeper understanding related to these reminders.  What does it mean to take 100% responsibility for everything in my life.  Practicing what that looks like on a normal basis is challenging to say the least.  Especially when working in a group as I often do with my VoxPop Band Evolution and with my LifeStylized business partners.  I find it more challenging to take 100% ownership of your results when others are involved.  When working in a team I have someone else to blame for my shortcomings.

When a success happens in a group it is easy to take ownership of the outcome.  However I notice when a perceived failure happens most people do not take ownership of their contribution to the outcome.  There are many different things to consider.  Do you move on if you continue to give your very best and the rest of the partners do not perform at the level you consistently do?  Do you question your own involvment?  Do you encourage your partners to try new things and ask how you can improve?  I find there to be no right or wrong answer to theses questions.  I do find an oppurtunity to recommit to my path and do what I want in my life.

It is not a failure it is only feedback.  If I take ownership, or 100% responsibility for the “outcome” I get opportunity to choose my truest “outcome”.  If I choose to improve my offerings I become a master craftsmen in my art.  I if I choose to point a finger at my partners then I miss the opportunity to change my life from good to great!

Rejection in any form is frustrating. We certainly learn a tremendous amount about ourselves when we are told “No”, repeatedly. At this time, I am reminded of the beginning days of EVOLUTION. Our name, spawned from a “Michael Maury Stellar Story” or pontification, if you will. I was discussing the term “human revolution” and made a point that it runs deeper than this phrase indicates. We are all going through a “spiritual evolution”. We are digging deep into our soulful cores to find just what it truly is that feeds our spirit! What is our soul lesson to help us expand and evolve? Song, music, harmony, and uplifting entertainment certainly feeds my spirit and has provided the proper laboratory for me to workshop in this life. I won’t be knocked down by “no”, not now, not ever. As someone once told me, “Every time you ‘No’, it just means you’re closer to ‘Yes!’ ”
As far as personal responsibility is concerned, I believe Drs. Ron and Mary Hulnick put it best in their book, “Loyalty to Your Soul”. They say, “The willingness to take personal responsibility for everything in your consciousness is an essential component of spiritual psychology. Principle 14 states, “Nothing outside of you causes your disturbances”. There are no exceptions to this rule. You can either do, “I am upset because…” or you can do, “I am 100 % responsible for any disturbance going on in my consciousness, regardless of what has seemed to have triggered it.” Notice, we’re not saying you’re responsible for anything or everything going on in your life. While to a greater or lesser degree you may have influence over many of the events occurring in your life, rarely, if ever do actually have control. However, you do have dominion of everything going on within your consciousness, and this is where true empowerment is found. You can play the victim role or the empowered role, but you can’t play both simultaneously. It’s only when you are willing to claim 100% responsibility for your internal process, regardless of how good your reasons are for blaming others that you have any chance what so ever of completing your soul orchestrated curriculum.” Ooh… I love that! This is just a wonderful lesson helping guide us further to complete our “Soul Orchestrated Curriculum!” Blessings and Harmony!
